Synchrony Pharmacy wishes to congratulate Rob Leffler, RPH, BCGP, FASCP, on his new role as President of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists!

An international organization founded in 1969, the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is a non-profit association of pharmacists and pharmacies that manage medications for our senior population. Their mission is to promote healthy aging by “empowering pharmacists with education, resources, and innovative opportunities.”

As the new president of ASCP, Rob brings with him visionary leadership, deep expertise in senior care pharmacy, and a passion for building inclusive, purpose-driven communities.

“Rob’s leadership is a reflection of what makes Synchrony Pharmacy special — a commitment to excellence, compassion, and community. His vision for ASCP is bold and inclusive, and we’re proud to stand behind him as he helps shape the future of senior care pharmacy.”— Lance Miller, Synchrony Pharmacy Chief Operating Officer.

Rob’s “Home is Where the Heart Is” leadership plan is already inspiring ASCP members to reimagine engagement, committee structure, and student involvement — and we couldn’t be prouder to support him on this journey.

Here’s to a transformative year ahead!

Exciting news! Synchrony Pharmacy has been recognized as a Gold Winner in the Medication Management category of the 15th annual McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards.

This category celebrates providers that strive to make significant advancements in medication management systems that “assist providers in achieving accurate, timely and secure administration of medications, promoting patient safety.”

Synchrony Pharmacy was recognized for our Medication Order Entry & Pharmacy Agent (RxOE) entry – a proprietary AI-augmented pharmacy agent made in collaboration with Prama and Trilogy Health Services. With the power of RxOE, our pharmacies no longer require manual medication order entry – reducing average order times by 40% and manual verification errors by more than 30%.

We’re thrilled to be recognized for this honor – and we look forward to further supporting our communities and improving resident outcomes!

We’re thrilled to announce that Synchrony Pharmacy has received a Net Promoter Score (NPS®) of 50 in our recent Customer Satisfaction Survey!

NPS®, a pivotal metric gauging customer loyalty and satisfaction, asks one simple question: “How likely is it that you would recommend Synchrony to a friend or colleague?” Spanning from -100 to 100 with an industry average score of 32, our score of 50 represents Synchrony’s steadfast dedication to our patients and customers.

“Clinical excellence is at the forefront of everything we do – from medication management to routine med cart audits,” commented Lance Miller, Chief Operating Officer of Synchrony Pharmacy. “We’re thrilled to have received a score that represents the “excellent” category – not because of the recognition, but because of how it reflects positive outcomes for both our customers and their residents.”

The feedback collected from the NPS® will be used to further refine the Synchrony Pharmacy experience – enhancing existing clinical programs, continuing to focus on industry leading outcomes, and ensuring we provide the gold standard of care.

Home is where the heart is.

It’s also where health is.

And no matter where a senior calls home, that’s exactly where health care providers want to help them remain — including skilled nursing facilities.

For SNF operators, a resident having to leave early, unexpectedly or unnecessarily is exactly what they want to avoid. A good pharmacy provider knows that. Combatting preventable hospital admissions, as well as readmissions, should be on the mind of every SNF’s pharmacy partner.
